I’m Kevin Weinberg, and I founded GS Permits after spending nearly two decades working alongside architects, contractors, and developers in the solar and storage industry—and seeing the same frustrations come up project after project.

Permitting and engineering were consistently slowing good projects down. Plans were unclear. Revisions dragged on. Engineering felt disconnected from real-world construction timelines. And too often, the people actually building and designing projects were left managing avoidable complexity instead of moving work forward.

GS Permits was built to change that.

My goal is simple: make solar and storage permitting predictable, accurate, and easy to work through. We deliver clear, permit-ready plans and professional engineering stamps for both residential and commercial projects, so our clients can stay focused on design integrity, construction, and execution—not paperwork and delays.
